Once there was a fat old fool
laughing at his tiny tool.
The tool was smarter yet than he,
the giant was too dumb to see,
too dumb to hear a little voice 
that called: don't tread on me,
I am alive, I have a brain,
it's wrong of you to cause me pain.

The fool heard not, kept treading on
or took delight in seeming deaf
and smiling broadly shouted,
- not even so much louder than the little voice -
a mock-misunderstanding jolly, gay old man,
he shouted: "Tread on you? - I will!"
And so he did - and laughed.

Vögleins Ende 

Ein Vöglein im Obstgarten hüpfte um die Füße meiner Königin, 
weil es aus dem Nest gefallen war und sie es genährt und 
gerettet hatte. Weil es aber viel zu klein und zu wenig für 
ihren Herrscherdurst war, hatte sie viel kostbaren Weins 
gesoffen und schwankte. Sie schwankte einen Schritt rückwärts 
und dort, grausig im Grase, brach sein Schädel in Stücke.

Who threatens to throttle me?
Who shoots me below the neck?
Who is killing, you or me?
Who will be killing you?
With a blade below the throat

Pig Predators

Pigs on a lorry, brought to slaughter
beautiful lies: humanity, nature 
humans are humans' pigs.
Predators rule
and humans are different 
tyrannosaurs, tigers
in that they invented 
the idea of the human as pig.
